Talk: Children's online safety

The internet is a natural part of everyday life for children and teenagers. It offers opportunities for learning, fun and staying in touch with friends, but it also opens the door to risks that are not always visible at first glance.

This talk offers a clear and practical look at how children in the Czech Republic really use digital technologies, what situations they may encounter and how adults can notice warning signs in time.

We will focus especially on current trends in children's internet use, the ways predators build contact and trust, warning signs of manipulation or inappropriate communication, how to talk with children about risks, and what to do if something happens.
